Tamiya’s awesome Gravel Hound Buggy is one any off-road R/C enthusiast should look at. Featuring the brand new DF-02 chassis for improved performance. Displayed at Nuremberg as an XB buggy, the Gravel Hound is now available as an assembly kit, and excellent it is too. With the new DF-02 chassis featuring longitudinally mounted motor and battery, the Gravel Hound has a very nice, sleek design and performance to match. A powerful Type 540 motor supplied, combined with 4 oil filled dampers means tough off road running and fearless aerial action all the way with this mean buggy. The semi ball bearing gearbox is fully sealed to dirt and stones out, for easy maintenance and long lasting performance.
The overall center of gravity on the DF-02 chassis displays superior stability and handling in this model. The chassis also features a wide bathtub design that easily accommodates battery and all R/C mechanisms.

Now this brings back memories! The revolutionary 1984 2WD Tamiya off-road buggy is back and more fun than ever before. The Hornet stands as one of Tamiyas all-time favourite Radio Controlled cars ever released, helping launch a 2WD R/C buggy boom worldwide.
Featuring excellent performance on both dirt and on-road tracks, this incredible buggy can take on any type of terrain with ease. Just like the original, this re-release features a very easy to assemble chassis and drivetrain. The Hornet is perfect for those that used to have one when they were kids, those that have always wanted one, and for those that want a revolutionary buggy that has earned its place in R/C history. I highly recommend you give this one a look!

This excellent model was my first introduction into Radio Controlled cars, and the new version of Vanessa’s Lunchbox is much improved on the version I had in 80’s. Very fast and great fun on and off-road. Performs some great wheelies and spins.
